About Herbst-Walker Studios

Established in 2004, Herbst-Walker Studios is incorporated name of Nikki Herbst-Walker's music instruction and accompaniment business, a business she has been runnng for over 20 years.

Herbst-Walker Studios also works in partnership with some of the finest local musicians so that they can offer a wide range of services.

Studio Principal: Nikki Herbst-Walker, BMus, MMus, ARCT, RMT

Nikki Herbst-Walker began her musical education at an early age. She completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Lethbridge and a Masters of Music in Piano Performance at Brandon University. She also holds an A.R.C.T. performance diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Before moving to Calgary in 2000, Nikki taught traditional and Suzuki piano at the Bermuda Conservatory of Music, and the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music at Brandon University. Her solo and accompanying performances include work with opera, musical theatre, orchestras, and recitals for benefits and festivals. Nikki is also an accompanist in the Academy Program at Mount Royal College.
